Praise God for what he is doing at West Hills! Twenty-eight people were baptized on Palm Sunday this year. In the forty year history of the church, this is the most people on a single Sunday! We have eighty people attending our services regularly who are new to the church in the past eight months. Our students have just returned from a missions trip to Queens, NY and two of our families just returned from a missions trip to Scotland.

 

Please be in prayer for West Hills Community Church regarding life group leaders. They are seeking to find 6 more adults to start more life groups to engage their new people. Also they are looking to discover a man and team to assist him in leading the men's ministry, believing that men are key to family health and church health. Finally, Pastor Brooks and his wife Jenny would be blessed if you would join them in praying for their son Josh and his wife Johanna who have joined a new Acts 29 church plant in Memphis. Please pray for the formation of the launch team, and effective gospel ministry to take place through this new church in midtown Memphis.
